Ms. O’Connor began teaching first grade at OPES after her graduation from Winthrop University in 2004. She has served as a grade chairperson, assisted with running teams, been active with implementation of technology in her class-room, and written several grants. She has a master of Di-vergent Learning from Columbia College. Ms. O’Connor earned National Board Certification in Literacy in 2009. When away from school, she enjoys running, reading and time at the beach..

Mrs. Nancy Johnsen has a Bachelor’s degree in business from Bethel College in Minnesota. In 2007, she began sub-stituting in the Fort Mill School District. She has served as an instructional assistant in the upper grade special setting class for two years. Her hobbies include running, reading, and travel.
